Charles Liu is a leading OMNI operation authority and thought leader with worldwide recognition, currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer for Away, leading all aspects of the end to end operation functions, including global sourcing, manufacturing, product development, quality control, logistics, transportation, along with information technology and company ERP implementation.
Previously, as the Vice President of Supply Chain at Walmart eCommerce, Charles was responsible for the overall end-to-end responsibility to deliver a consistent, pleasant shopping experience for the hundreds of millions of consumers with millions of products.
He established the OMNI supply chain strategy to integrate the click and brick operation with the most efficient product flow, distribution network design, logistics and fulfillment optimization and delivery promise.
He grew the SKU assortment from less than 500k to more than 3 million, while delivering $150 million in savings in last mile cost; $300 million in inventory reduction; and PPO(Package per order) improvement by 0.5 and increasing ODD (On-time delivery promise) by 520 basis points.
